The company has been manufacturing stainless steel food processing equipment for more than 45 years and offers a full line of home food processing and food preservation products. TSM Products is focused on devel- oping products to help both consumers and small businesses take the means of production back into their own hands. The company feels it is important to offer products that help its customers develop and maintain their own fresh and healthy food choices. Due to a strong demand for products designed to maintain health and well being, a key segment of the company's business is in the manufacture of stain- less steel food dehydrators, available in a wide range of sizes. Its five and ten tray dehydrators are designed for everyday household use, while its 14 and 20 tray dehydrators are designed for a variety of commercial applications. Since food dehydration takes place at low temperatures over long periods of time, food dehydrators can become a breeding ground for bacteria. The TSM dehydrators are made from 98 percent food grade, 304 series stainless steel. Included are racks and drying trays, uniquely designed for easy cleaning. All TSM dehydrators have outstanding hygienic and sanitary properties and are superior over their plastic counterparts. TSM's use of high quality food grade stainless steel can also be found in its line of smok- ers, cheese presses, manual and motorized sausage stuffers, all of which are designed for the home kitchen or small to medium sized business. Other products in the TSM lineup include a series of electric meat grinders and food slicers, available in the company's signature red color palette. They are designed to meet the needs of the home chef, food hobbyist or sportsman by making food prep in the home kitchen easy and efficient. The company is also intent on offer- ing additional products that are useful for maintaining health and well being. TSM offers a wide assortment of fruit and wine presses, tomato presses and an extensive line of artisan crafted fermentation pots. TSM can be credited with introduc- ing the Polish and Czech style fermenta- tion pots to the U.S. as well as an inex- pensive German style alternative crock design. Due to some exciting changes taking place with its Polish crock supplier, TSM will be introducing new designs that are expected to be available in June 2015. Please contact the company at 716.362.4524 for more infor- mation on the new Polish fer- mentation pot designs and their availabil- ity. TSM Products continues to hold itself to the highest standards in manu- facturing, product design and product sourcing. Each year its product line grows to accommodate innovative new items. TSM remains focused on offering products to help maintain fun, life-long family traditions. Whether your menu includes homemade sausage, smoked bacon, raw flax seed crackers or pro-biot- ic loaded vegetables, TSM Products offers the quality, technology and flexi- bility to help consumers make it happen. BROWNE OFFERS BEAUTY AND QUALITY This year's positive economic climate presents premium opportunities for kitchenware retailers to help customers equip their kitchens with better products, according to Browne USA Chief Operating Officer Peter Braley. "This is an opportunity to step up, to help the cus- tomers who have confidence in what our retailers are presenting to find better goods – better quality and better- designed goods," he said. As an example of this point of view, Braley offers the Cuisipro V Graters that Browne is debuting at this year's International Home + Housewares Show. "Gadgets and tools are not necessarily the reason that people come in the store, but when they're in the store, they begin thinking about that cookware set they've been thinking about, or they see a new tool," he said. "This is an opportunity for the retailer to introduce a product that they weren't thinking about, a product with aesthetic value and a thing that actu- ally adds value." The V Graters' patented Surface Glide Technology and meticulous design features will appeal to that value-con- scious customer, according to Braley. "The V Grater has been designed as a high-end cutting tool, so a retailer might want to display it next to the knives. We package it that way; we built it that way," he said. "It's extremely strong and well designed, and we're excited about it because we think it'll give consumers something new to discover. When they're excited about something, they're more likely to make a purchase in that catego- ry. It's beautiful, it's kind of intriguing, and it's one of those things that people will look at this as not only something they would like, but this becomes much more rele- vant as a nice quality gift that you would give somebody. It's drawing people into thinking of it differently. For the bakers among your customers, Cuisipro is intro- ducing a set of three mixing bowls. They're designed with square rims, and that's what you see when you look down on them from above, but below the rims, the bowls are round, so they're easy to hold when they're being cradled between arm and body for hand-mixing. The three bowls are stackable too. "They nest quite nicely as well as being beautiful to look at and to hold," Braley said. Cuisipro is also launching new Mini Pop Molds. Small enough for kids' hands, each Mini Pop Mold has a themed character at the center of the frozen pop. Molds are available in dinosaur, safari and farm themes, and they're BPA-free. They're also made to snap together, so a set of four can be stored in the freezer as a row of four or two by two – whichever fits into the avail- able space in the freezer. Finally for Cuisipro, the brand is launching a set of stain- less steel utensils with silicone heads. "They have a very nice curve to the handle," Braley said. "Our stainless steel and nylon utensils have been doing very well, and now we have this third set of utensils with a distinct and different look to it." Browne is also introducing the Concrete Collection from Berard, a Salt Keeper and a pair of Salt/Pepper Mills – one tall and one short. "For the last sev- eral years, we've been considering how to add to the aesthetic of the olive wood. This year we're doing it with concrete. We're very pleased with the initial reac- tion, and we're very pleased with the aes- thetic of that as well." Visit Browne USA at booth #S3428. PURE IMAGINATION'S PERFECT BAKE: BAKING FOR THE CONNECTED Perfect Bake™ by Pure Imagination LLC is a patented app-controlled smart baking system set to revolutionize at-home bak- ing, turning anyone into a master pastry chef. The heart of the system is a smart digital scale that connects with an inno- vative app on a tablet or smartphone together designed to guarantee perfectly delicious results every time. With Perfect Bake, users simply pour their flour, sugar and other ingredi- ents directly into a mixing bowl placed on the smart scale and watch as a virtual bowl fills up in real time on their smart device. "Ding!" An audio alert tells the user it's time to stop. No measuring cups or spoons are required. With baking, pre- cise measurement of each ingredient is critical. Measuring by weight, rather than volume, is most accurate, which is why professional pastry chefs weigh their ingredients. Perfect Bake can also rescale a recipe to a desired serving size, pan size or shape, or to the least ingredient on hand. The app automatically adjusts all ingredient amounts – math that can be difficult for even the most experienced pastry chefs. Gone is the traditional cookbook recipe format. Perfect Bake's recipes are laid out digitally in user-friendly color- coded blocks that correspond to each of the three included mixing bowls (though, any bowls can be used). As ingredients are poured, they are checked off, elimi- nating one of the most common baking mistakes – skipping an ingredient. The recipe will auto-advance to the next step, though users can navigate the app at any time from their smart device or the scale's touchpad (to avoid dirty fingers on the device). The Perfect Bake app offers hun- dreds of savory and sweet recipes, devel- oped and tested by a team of Culinary Institute of America (CIA) trained pastry chefs and avid at-home bakers. Categories range from cakes and cookies, break- fast and ice cream, to gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan options. New recipes are being added continually. Users can also edit existing recipes or even add their family favorites. Not sure what to make? A virtual pantry keeps track of on-hand ingredients and recommends recipes to make using those ingredients. In-app timers ensure the perfect amount of mixing, baking and cooling time. A portioning meter meas- ures the perfect amount of batter or cook- ie dough. Plus, more than 60 original videos show how to perform each baking technique. For novice bakers or families with young kids, Perfect Bake hand-holds the user throughout the entire baking process, from recipe selection to cooling. For more experienced bakers, it makes the process more consistent, efficient and less messy. Perfect Bake includes a smart scale, free app (download- able from the Apple App Store and Google Play), three color- coded mixing bowls with non-slip bottoms and pouring spouts (microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe), an oven thermometer and device stand. The MSRP is $69.99. Perfect Bake follows the highly suc- cessful launch of Pure Imagination's Perfect Drink ® , a patented app-controlled smart bartending system that allows any- one to make world-class cocktails at home.
