K i t c h e n w a r e N e w s & H o u s e w a r e s R e v i e w S h o w D a i l y 1 0 7 S u n d a y, M a r c h 8 , 2 0 1 5 Magazine last year as a pre-production product and is finally here in its retail- ready form this year. Tell our readers more about it. RS: It's been a lot of fun bringing the ChargeHub to market this year. We're espe- cially enjoying the enthusiasm with which the product has been embraced, both by retailers and by the consumers who are thrilled to have a way to charge a family's worth of devices from one power supply. The ChargeHub is a seven-port USB charging station. It plugs right into the wall through its own cord and can power up to seven devices simultaneously. The hub itself sits on a desk or table, and then the devices plug into it with their own USB cords. Another great feature is that the ChargeHub utilizes patent-pending SmartSpeed™ Technology to allow any port to charge the connected device at its maximum charging speed, regardless of whether it is an Apple iOS or Android device. We're a licensed Apple MFi Developer, by the way, so you'll find Apple's logo on our CableLinx™ USB charge and sync cable packaging, and you can be sure that ChargeHub is fully compatible with your Apple device. KNSD: What about those folks who don't have all their USB cords or who have devices that didn't come with USB cords in the package when they pur- chased them? RS: We thought of that too. If you don't have those cords, you can also purchase CableLinx from Limitless Innovations. Those are 3-1/2-inch charge and sync cables that are sold as an accessory to the Limitless Innovations (Cont'd. from p. 1) ChargeHub. We have them in the four most common types on the market today, including Lightning™, 30-Pin, Micro and Mini to USB, so they'll accommodate the widest possible variety of devices. KNSD: Sounds like you've thought of just about everything. RS: We developed the ChargeHub after listening to users of our CableHub ® , which organizes up to seven cables, cords or wires at once while keeping them sta- bilized, protected and tangle-free. CableHub reduces exposed cords for safety and convenience – you just wrap up to 10 feet of cables around the weight- ed disc and snap it shut. People loved that, but they told us that they'd love it even more if it had the ability to charge their devices as well. We listened and went right to work on that. Another thing that CableHub users told us they loved about the product is that it's easy to personalize; either by letting us print a name or logo to be added to the top of the CableHub, or by printing that out and adding it them- selves. That's another feature that we kept when we developed the ChargeHub. KNSD: What are the retail prices on these items? RS: The ChargeHub sells for $59.95 and is available for immediate shipment and its CableLinx accessories start at $7.95. The CableHub retails for $14.95. More and more people are choosing commercial quality whiteware for home entertaining – and even everyday use – and there's a good reason for that. "People want to present their food the same way celebrity chefs do," said Laura Aldrich, Senior V.P. of Consumer Products for Fortessa Tableware Solutions. "It reminds them of having dinner out and it looks great on their table. When they see their food served on our dinnerware, they feel like five-star chefs." Fortessa dinnerware is designed to show food to its greatest advantage. Wide plates with defined wells create a versa- tile palette for stunning presentations. Whether you're serving Nouvelle Cuisine or casual dining, family-style, Fortessa dinnerware makes a statement. There's another reason for the grow- ing trend in Fortessa dinnerware for the home, and it's almost as important as the first: Fortessa dinnerware is incredibly durable because it has to stand up to the rigors of commercial dining. Restaurants are fast-paced environments where plates get stacked, roughly handled and run Fortessa Tableware (Cont'd. from p. 1) through commercial dishwashers. Only the strong survive. "Our dinnerware is known to hold up well, even in high volume restau- rants," said Aldrich. "The designs look delicate but they're actually chip and break-resistant. It's the best of both worlds." Plus, the Fortessa designs offer incredible variety. Dinnerware patterns include fine bone china, made with high concentrations of calcium phosphate for an unmatched creamy translucence. Fortessa also offers surprisingly afford- able, premium whiteware guaranteed to match colors across patterns and styles, allowing for personalization through mixing and matching. Fortessa dinnerware is used by five- star chefs around the world, building tremendous loyalty among chefs and a sense of recognition among savvy restau- rant patrons. For many, having Fortessa dinnerware at home is a pleasant reminder of their favorite restaurant. "Dinner at home should be a special occasion," said Aldrich. "With Fortessa dinnerware, it is." To make even more space in the kitchen, RoomInBoards are a nesting trio of cutting boards. There are three different board sizes that snap and nest inside each other – all at a mere one- inch high in total. Both PopMeasure and RoomInBoards are dishwasher safe, but if you prefer to hand wash dishes you'll want to have a WaveRack by your sink-side. WaveRack is a vertical dish-drying mat with a minimal- istic and evaporative wave design to increase airflow for complete drying of plates, utensils, pots, glasses and cups. The WaveRack is rigid enough to hold dishes vertically when laid out flat, but has a flex- ible joint to fold in half for easy storage when not in use. It's the perfect space sav- ing companion for large or small kitchens.
