We are innovating at an unbelievable pace in the challenging world of FDA-reviewed, class III medical devices. This year alone, we gained FDA approval for five new products and accessories. For example, we introduced Dexcom SHARE™, the world's first remote mobile continuous glu- cose monitoring device. This device allows patients with diabetes to remotely share their glucose data with family and friends, using Bluetooth technology and secure wireless capabilities. Our advanced technology also fea- tures alarms designed to alert the user of dangerous changes in their glucose so they can take action. We also cater to the pediatric market; our G4 PLATINUM is the only CGM approved for children as young as two years old. Not only do we keep our patients one step ahead of their diabetes, we con- tinue to stay one step ahead of the com- petition. CEDN: What is Dexcom's vision? KS: Dexcom empowers people to take control of their diabetes by providing Dexcom ( Cont'd. from p. 1) superior continuous glucose monitoring technology. We focus on enabling better outcomes for patients, caregivers and clinicians by delivering solutions that make it easier to take control of dia- betes. We are committed to revolution- izing diabetes care and putting the patient first at every juncture. It's our vision to make continuous glucose monitoring the standard of care for insulin-dependent patients. CEDN: What is the best part of your job? KS: I received a phone call recently from a mother who told me that our SHARE system allowed her 11-year-old daughter with type 1 diabetes to attend a sleepover at her friend's house. The mom was in tears because her daughter was finally able to experience this normal childhood activ- ity. Stories like this put into perspective the important work at Dexcom. I feel inspired knowing that we are working as a group to better the lives of these individuals. CEDN: What's next for Dexcom? KS: We are focusing on increased con- nectivity, moving in the direction of employing mobile technology to better manage the disease. We are progressing toward an interconnected world of healthcare, where important information like glucose readings will be shared between patients and their healthcare providers in real-time. We also continue to push the bound- aries when it comes to sensor performance to keep us one step ahead of our competi- tors. RC: I think that Nite Ize is unique for many reasons, but above all I hope that our customers appreciate the problem/solution driven products that we bring to the market. RC: Yes! Nite Ize is launching more than 60 new products in 2015 into all of our markets, but we are very excited about a handful of new items that will appeal to visitors at the 2015 International CES ® . In 2015, we have more than 80 new products being presented to retail buyers at International CES ® in January. CEDN: What products do you see as being hottest this year? CL: In 2015 we foresee explosive growth in two categories. First and foremost, we anticipate a triple digit growth in our col- lection of "Justin" Portable Power Products that allow consumers to recharge their smartphones and tablets while on the go. No outlet? No worries! The other cat- egory that continues to amaze us is our Nostalgia Collection of vintage electron- ics that our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents enjoyed. Over the past seven years we have achieved more than $275 million in retail sales in this incredi- ble category. For 2015, we have more than 20 new Nostalgic Products and anticipate significant sales growth in 2015. CEDN: What is your outlook in general for this product line?
