A f te rm a rke t D a i l y N e ws Th u r s d a y, N o ve m b e r 6 , 2 0 1 4 1 0 ALL AMERICAN TAIL BONE SEAT FROM DALE ADAMS ENTERPRISES By Jeremy Adams, Director of Operations, Dale Adams Enterprises Inc. Launched in late 2009, the all-American Tail Bone™ mechanics seat is a complete reimagining of the concept. The Tail Bone uses features that make our Bone™ creepers so popular, namely the huge wheels mounted as far outboard as possi- ble to not only make it extremely difficult to tip over backwards, but also to be able to roll over obstacles. Our products are made of quality materials for durability and long life. The first thing people notice when they see the Tail Bone is its size. Yes, it is big. But look at other mechanics seats on the market: they are all tiny, usually with even tinier seats, and extremely tippy. They use cheap, dinky little wheels that get caught on even the smallest cracks in the floor. Many people simply give up on them in frustration and wind up squatting next to whatever they are working on – a killer on the knees and back! The Tail Bone uses its large size to be both com- fortable and stable. The large antique tractor-style seat was sized to fit all pos- teriors, and the wide wheelbase on the naturally stable tripod platform gives you peace of mind from the fears of toppling over backwards if you lean the wrong way. The tripod also places the leading wheel between your legs, allowing you to get closer to your work than other seats, as your feet tuck neatly under the chair. The seat is contoured to steer with your thighs – "Look Ma, no hands!" The Tail Bone is designed to be per- fect for any low job you need to perform, from buffing side panels to changing brakes to inflating tires. It allows you to get up close and personal with your work. The huge wheels not only make it easier to get over rough floors and obsta- cles, but they also roll extreme- ly easily. Other shop seats with big wheels use five instead of our three, which are simply two extra to get caught up on things. The extra wheels also make it more difficult to roll in a straight line. The Tail Bone goes exactly where you want it to, when you want it to. Come see the Tail Bone in person and try it out for yourself at booth #10161. You'll see the differ- ence between American quality and design over the quick-and-cheap of the competition. E-LIGHT 500: A GIANT LEAP FORWARD IN BED LIGHTING By Dylan Reminder, Marketing, THI Corporation When you think Extang, you think quali- ty, and when you think of Rigid Industries, you think of intense, raw power. But what happens when you com- bine the two? The answer is the e-LIGHT 500. Extang and Rigid Industries are proud to announce their partnership in the development of the e-LIGHT 500, the next generation of bed lighting. The e-LIGHT 500 is a brand-new revolutionary bed lighting solution that finally solves the issue of getting your entire truck bed fully lit with ease. Unrivaled by any other bed lighting prod- uct on the market, the e-LIGHT 500 has been developed by Rigid Industries exclusively for Extang, and has truly raised the bar when it comes to truck bed lighting. Universal in nature, the e-LIGHT 500 has been specifically designed to fit inside the tail section of your Solid Fold, Trifecta and e-MAX tonneau cover, or any other desired location that fits your needs. The adhesive and Velcro strips afford you the options of attaching the light to any surface of your bed, includ- ing the liner, or the tonneau cover itself. Need a light? No problem. The e- LIGHT 500 quickly and easily detaches from its cradle turning into a super bright and ready-to-use flashlight, and can be attached to any metal surface with its mag- netic base. In addition to its versatility, this light is water- proof and durable, ensuring a high quality and long last- ing product for years to come. Also sepa- rating itself from its competition is the e- LIGHT 500s battery capabilities. The lithium-ion battery is rechargeable, and can be plugged right into your truck's 12v power outlet for a quick power up when you are on the go. Rigid, known for its industry-lead- ing LED light technology, developed a unit that houses three micro LED lights that should not be underestimated by their size. Pushing out up to 500 lumens of battery-supplied light at the highest of its the different settings, the e-LIGHT 500 has more than enough impressive power to illuminate your entire bed. "Partnering with companies that take quality and details to new levels is what it's all about," said Dave Davis, Vice President of Sales, Rigid Industries. "All of us at Rigid Industries are excited to innovate solutions with a company like Extang. Rigid Lighting products provide very high light output and require very little power to run, reducing battery drain as opposed to traditional lighting. This makes for an exciting user experience when combined with the Extang product portfolio." The e-LIGHT 500 is expected to hit the market later this year. For more information on Extang's e-LIGHT 500 developed by Rigid Industries, visit booth #31097.
