AN INDEPENDENT PUBLICATION NOT AFFILIATED WITH G2E MULTIMEDIA GAMES HOSTING NATIONAL TOURNEVENT OF CHAMPIONS On October 1, 2014, one lucky player will be crowned the Nation's Best Slot Tournament Player and win the $200,000 grand prize at the National TournEvent of Champions ® Championship in Las Vegas. Multimedia Games is hosting the National TournEvent of Champions in collaboration with casinos across the country to see who has the slot skills to take home Ultimate Glory and bragging rights as the nation's best. Qualifying rounds ran through September with a total of 123 slot players from 100 casinos scheduled to compete for the National Championship and a share of $500,000 at the Wynn's XS Nightclub in Las Vegas on October 1, 2014. That night will also kick off the countdown to the Million Dollar Event in 2015, when National TournEvent of Champions will award $1 Million to its National Champion on September 30, 2015. "Congratulations to all the winners who've qualified so far," said Multimedia Games CEO Patrick Ramsey. "To make it to the National Championship takes preparation and endurance. These play- ers have certainly shown their spirit through intense competitions and earned the chance to play for the title." The National TournEvent of Champions takes slot tournaments to a whole new level.
