What type of product is it? What are the ingredients? JB: TriCalm is a steroid-free gel that delivers rapid relief from itching, burning and stinging. The active ingredient is alu- minum acetate, but it also includes Cosmederm-7, our patented ingredient. In addition, it is steroid free, which is really important to a lot of consumers. CDD: What makes TriCalm different than other anti-itch products on the mar- ket? JB: TriCalm solves itch in a completely different way. Essentially it reduces the sensitivity of the nerves that send signals of itch, burn or sting to the brain. It does so right away, so relief is essentially immediate. We've been working with this tech- nology for a long time, and it is incredi- bly exciting to see the fantastic results consumers are seeing. CDD: How are sales in the first year? What is the current market share where the product is already in distribution? JB: Fantastic, TriCalm is the fastest Cosmederm Bioscience ( Cont'd. from p. 1) growing brand in Anti-Itch. Walgreens and CVS were really the first to believe in TriCalm and we've grown to be amongst their top brands in the category with only one SKU. Walmart came on board this year, and we've seen fantastic growth there as well. We have a number of other regional retailers who are also seeing the same kind of success and growth. I think something that really sets us apart is our commitment to those who have believed in us and brought us onto their shelves. We take that very seriously and work hard to make sure that we exceed their expectations. CDD: Will there be near-term expansion with other new products and SKUs? JB: We have two new products that will be available next year: TriCalm Extra Strength Spray and TriCalm Clinical Repair Cream. Both are tremendous products in their own right, and are great additions to our product line.
