As soon as they spotted that larger size and also the stainless steel top, they were very interested," says Sophia Wong, Oasis Concepts Sales Manager. "We were able to meet with some of the customers that we have done business with before, and now they are interested in reordering again, so that was nice. We met a lot of sales reps, and also we got a lot of leads from that show." iDevices showcased its new Kitchen Thermometer mini and iGrill2 at the show, marking the first time the products were shown in their commercial versions. The Kitchen Thermometer mini is a single probe thermometer that utilizes Bluetooth technology to inform smart devices when a dish reaches the desired temperature. The iGrill2 is a Bluetooth grilling thermometer that can keep track of four different temperatures at once and be read on a smart device as well. This was iDevices' first time at the National Hardware Show. "It was our first year at the show, so I think just being able to meet some clients that we've never met before was the highlight," says Lianne Kersey, Marketing Manager for iDevices. "We were able to meet Macy's and Nordstrom and people like that that we don't typically get to talk to." COOKINA Barbecue is made f rom a nonstick food safe polymer fabric that can withstand heat up to 500 degrees F and can be washed with soap and water for repeated use. COOKINA also noted that the show offered opportunities for connecting with an expanded customer base. "One of the aspects that was very good was the international sales," says Alain Richard, Founder of COOKINA. "We got quite a few leads from countries like Mexico, Chile, Panama, other countries in the Caribbean, a couple from Europe, but mainly Latin America." The Companion Group showed off a newly designed PizzaQue Portable Outdoor Pizza Oven and remained busy with one booth indoors and one outdoors. The company did live cooking demonstrations and gave out samples all weekend long, making at least 200 pizzas in two days. The show was great, everything went really well for us" says Niki Gross, Marketing Communications Manager for The Companion Group.
