STAND OUT WITH VEHICLE WRAPS FROM MIMAKI By Paul McGovern, Marketing and Promotions Manager, Mimaki USA Vehicle wraps, as well as fleet and truck graphics, are a growing trend in outdoor advertising. More and more vehicles are being wrapped to draw attention in a busy world. Mimaki USA makes it possible to tap into the vehicle wrap and graphics market with Mimaki's innovative and versatile CJV30 Series (solvent ink), JV400LX Series (latex ink) and UJV500- 160 (UV LED ink) inkjet printers. The CJV30 Series (not shown at this year's SEMA show) lets you take it to the streets with one of the hottest print/cut systems on the market today. You can take advantage of white and metallic sil- ver inks for eye-catching, full color metallic effects. This tried-and-true digi- tal printer also comes in a 64-inch print- ing width for seamless applications. Mimaki USA will be demonstrating the latest in latex print technology with various wrap applications in Booth 12953 at this year's 2013 SEMA show. The newly enhanced 64-inch JV400LX will be running 3M™ Envision 480Cv3 graphic film and Mimaki's LUS-200 inks that feature CMYK + orange + green + white ink set – for a wider color gamut. Mimaki's eco- friendly LUS-200 latex inks make it a breeze for wrap installations since prints can be laminated immediately after print- ing. There is no need for "degassing" time delays like conventional solvent inks used today in most vehicle wrapping applica- tions. Mimaki and their partner 3M offer one of the best warranties in the business. Come by Mimaki booth 12953 for war- ranty details. Mimaki is partnering with TK Wrap Designs, based in Mooresville, N.C., who will be demonstrating how they use the JV400LX in applying wraps to a sports car and helmets. Also available from Mimaki, but not demonstrated at the SEMA show this year, is the new high speed, 64-inch UJV500-160 UV printer that sets the benchmark in high production vehicle and fleet graphics printing. With a print speed of up to 645 square feet per hour and the latest LED UV curing tech- nology, the UJV500 is a real winner in the high performance vehicle wrap market- place. THERMALBLADE: THE SAFEST WIPER BLADE THERMALBLADE is an assembly-run operation, manufacturing patented heat- ed silicone wiper blades. The company took over manufacturing from the inventor out of Canada, who ordered 35,000 blades out of China and India. When they got to Canada, they turned out to be unusable. However, the con- cept of heated wiper blades looked to be a fantastic idea, and THERMAL- BLADE picked it up. THERMAL- BLADE products are proudly made in the United States. The installation of a THERMAL- BLADE is very basic. You hook it up to the ignition as a power source and that powers the thermometer, which will cause the heating element to activate at the right temperatures when the car is on. The device is very safe as well – If the vehicle is running and it's below freezing, it will heat no matter what. If the temperature is high enough, the heating element will not turn on, saving energy and the maintaining the durabil- ity of the blade. One of THERMALBLADE's goals is to run the company differently from others. It treats both its customers and its workers with the utmost of respect. Truck drivers have stated that when driving at 65-75 mph in snowy conditions, they would have to knock ice off the blade by hand, which is incredibly dangerous. With THERMALBLADE wiper blades, that becomes a non-issue. THERMAL- BLADE wiper blades are designed with safety in mind. THERMALBLADE will be exhibit- ing a new design of blade at SEMA. The wire is completely hidden from view, giving it a very professional look. Limited amounts are available for imme- diate shipping. There will also be offer- ing a demo at the company's booth to show interested customers at the show how the THERMALBLADE works and why everyone should consider investing in a THERMALBLADE.
