A f t e r m a r k e t D a i l y N e w s 3 7 W e d n e s d a y, N o v e m b e r 6 , 2 0 1 3 PMA.POWER EX FIVE-GALLON SCALE BY SARTORIUS: A POWERFULLY GOOD PAINT SCALE Sartorius is pleased to announce a new high-capacity scale for five-gallon paint mixes or other general weighing needs. PMA.Power EX offers your shop a true high-capacity/high-resolu- tion scale, with an incredibly stable 0.1-gram readability through the entire weighing range. It is ideal for shops that primarily do fleet accounts and require increased readability for dense high solids, pearls and whites. A small- er but optimized footprint frees up more working space on the bench or floor. Built off our time-proven PMA series platform communication tech- nology, PMA.Power EX is compatible with your current mixing software. If you do not want to make any compromises when mixing large amounts of paint, the new PMA.Power EX is the ideal solution. Its monolithic weigh cell featuring a resolution of 0.1 grams and a weighing capacity extend- ing up to 35 kg enables you to pour components quickly and accurately into relatively large paint cans. Thanks to its high resolution, you will also find it easy to pour in small amounts with total accuracy on the PMA.Power EX scale. This lets you save money by not having to buy a second scale, an all-around weighing solution. The PMA.Power EX comes standard with an interface port. This means it can be used as a stand-alone scale, in a net- work with a PC, and in conjunction with paint-mixing and color matching systems. Its enhanced, large 14-seg- ment display enables the operator to clearly read weights and color components, as well as other important information. Even relatively long text can be conveniently read using the scrolling text function. In addition, the PMA.Power EX dis- play is equipped with a bracket that can be installed on a wall or set up on a bench. This gives you optimal flexibility in customizing your work area to suit your needs, and it ensures that you will have all important information available at a glance. The special display lock function designed by Sartorius enables you to hide weights on the PMA.Power EX display very easily to prevent unau- thorized paint mixing. PMA.Power EX is FM-Approved for use in Class I/Division 1 hazardous areas, and comes complete with a Safe-Area power supply, ensuring the highest level of safe- ty and security for your shop. Standard fea- tures of the PMA.Power EX include a large, brightly-backlit 14- segment display, a keypad overlay fea- turing new design, scrolling text func- tion, a programmable startup message, built-in patented overpour recalculation feature, an integrated formula calcula- tor for fractional mixing, a display lock function, a display unit custom-instal- lable for flexibility, solvent-resistant housing, a standard RS-232 interface port, multi-language setup menu and a worldwide service network. When every drop counts, count on Sartorius paint mixing solutions. GET CUSTOM STORAGE SOLUTIONS WITH STRONG HOLD PRODUCTS In 1993, Strong Hold set out to design the ultimate industrial storage product. The vision was to manufacture a product capable of withstanding the treatment common to an industrial environment. Included in this vision was the need to securely store heavy tools and valuables. The company's goal is to continue to meet the ever-changing needs of the most important people it knows: its customers! Strong Hold's production team is dedicated to providing the most durable cabinet available today. The product is designed to withstand years of indus- trial abuse and rough treatment. Strong Hold's products have shelf capacities up to 1900 pounds. All products are shipped completely assembled and ready to use. There is no lost time for shelf installation or setup. Most prod- ucts are available on a quick-ship basis, and can ship within 24 hours. Strong Hold also has custom fabrica- tion capabilities. TL: We will be unveiling four new SAT A products at SEMA 2013. The first is the SATAjet 4000 B Carl Avery Limited Edition. In 2012, SATA had a worldwide contest to design a scheme Sata Spray (Cont'd. from p. 1) for the outside of the SATAjet 4000 B guns. Carl Avery won the worldwide vote with his version. His idea was based for his love for the detailed scrollwork engraving in revolvers, as well as his love for American hot rods and motorcycles. The second new SATA product is a brand new gun called the SATAminijet 4400 B. It is the perfect compact spray gun if you are looking for a superb fin- ishes on areas of difficult access. The special SR nozzles are perfectly suitable for spot repairs on vehicles. It goes with- out saying that this spray gun allows the application of all modern paint systems, including waterborne. The third item is the new SATA adam 2 U. This is a dock that allows painters to connect their adam 2 digital gauges to the previously used 27771 ana- log air micrometer with gauge. This lightweight dock easily replaces the gauge on the air micrometer and you can now have perfect precision on any gun. Finally, we also will be unveiling SATA's new RPS Dispenser system. It has three ways to organize and dispense your SATA RPS cups, lids and strainers: Wall mounted, or a rotary version for the floor and bench or rotary version to mount to a wall bracket.
