A f t e r m a r k e t D a i l y N e w s W e d n e s d a y, N o v e m b e r 6 , 2 0 1 3 4 Electric, solar-powered and alternate fuel vehicles may be the wave of the future. However, at present most vehicles run on gasoline. In order for combustion to take place, a spark is needed to ignite the fuel mixture in the engine. A vehicle's igni- tion system is designed so a 12-volt bat- tery generates the very high voltage required to create such a discharge. At the heart of this system is a device called an ignition coil. Everyone from enthusiasts to profes- sional drivers wants more power. For over 40 years, ACCEL has single-mind- edly delivered performance with prod- ucts that deliver affordable power for grassroots enthusiasts, top racers and anyone who loves the thrill of speed. Superior Design Yields More Horsepower The ACCEL SuperCoil On Plug Kit generates 10-15 percent more energy than stock OEM factory coils. That's because ACCEL coils feature advanced bobbin technology and high- ly specialized silicone magnetic steel cores, as well as optimized winding, resistance and turns ratios. The bottom line is that more energy equals a hotter spark that burns fuel more completely to release all of its potential energy which translates into better fuel econo- my and more power. A Hotter Spark + Cleaner Burn = More Energy As direct replacements for OEM coils, ACCEL SuperCoils are a perfect match for stock engines and engines with per- formance upgrades. They'll get more horsepower from the engine as well as better fuel economy. ACCEL SuperCoils offer brass secondary contacts (except direct fire coil on plug applications), and installing ACCEL SuperCoils will pro- vide quicker starts and improved idle quality. In addition, ACCEL SuperCoils are corrosion resistant as well as shock and vibration resistant. THE FUTURE OF IMPROVED POWER AND PERFORMANCE IS NOW WITH THE ACCEL SUPERCOIL CLOUD-RIDER DESIGNS' MUD FLAPS HOLD UP TO EVERY TEST Cloud-Rider Designs is a leading Canadian automotive accessory manu- facturer. Cloud-Rider Designs began in 1995, and leads the industry with Stainless Steel Grill Inserts. Soon after its creation, Cloud-Rider Designs intro- duced the North American market to its world class Stone Stopper mud flaps. Its design was the first of its kind ever seen – a stainless steel bracket, formed to custom fit every North American truck manufacture. They were designed to bolt right into existing holes in the wheel well from the factory. These Stone Stopper mud flaps were very durable, and some are still on the road today from the late 1990s. As Cloud-Rider entered into the cur- rent century, customers were looking for products that were more universal, not custom to fit every truck available. Cloud-Rider took that lead from its cus- tomers, and brought out the Fusion Bond line of mud flaps. They lead with the 18- 12222 for the rear flap and the 18-12221 for the front. Although it is a universal fit for most applications, Cloud-Rider came out with a line of mud flap hangers for those odd applications that aren't quite as universal as planned. The line of Fusion Bond flaps con- sists of the 12222 series, which is a 22- inch long by 12-inch wide flap. Then there is the 14282, which is a 14-inch wide flap that is 28 inches long, for those Continued on Page 57 Continued on Page 57 Lee M.
