PAUL BRAYTON DESIGNS SHOWS SEGUE MODULAR COLLECTION A segue is a transition made without pause or interruption. And that is exactly what the 22 components of Segue are designed to do. The curved and straight forms of the seating, benches, tables and privacy pan- els allow you to create endless seating options. Seating with comfortable backs, benches and angled tables, all with grace- ful curves, form an organic shape that's inviting in any space. Whether config- ured for a collaborative gathering, open space seating, or a quiet retreat, Segue transitions into any or all. Add in Paul Brayton Designs' 36- inch round Portofino table and surround it by a Segue semicircle of two seats with backs, two wedge tables and a curved bench in the center, and you have a seat- ing area conducive to workplace collabo- ration, socializing in a restaurant lounge or relaxing in a hotel lobby. The Segue offers comfortable, any- direction seating for high-traffic public areas. For an education environment, the flexibility of the Segue fits right into the free-form, constant flow of stu- dents and faculty in a library, resource center or lounge. For healthcare facilities, Segue seat- ing is inviting and comfortable. Organic curves comprised of comfortable seating interspersed with tables and benches makes a large open space welcoming as well as practical. The Segue modular collection has hospitality written all over it. With today's hectic pace and wireless technol- ogy, hotel lobbies are an easy, convenient place to meet and review business. The Segue can be configured to provide smaller seating areas, and the addition of privacy panels cuts down on ambient noise. Of course, the hotel lobby is also a great place to sit and relax, people-watch, or catch up on your e-mail. For this type of open-plan seating, the flexibility of the Segue allows it to be designed to fit into any space, large or small. The brushed finish on the aluminum sled base adds to Segue's modern and contemporary look. Segue may be uphol- stered in COM or COL, as well as the any of Paul Brayton Designs textiles, faux leather or leather offerings. Segue is manufactured at the Paul Brayton Designs facility in Archdale, N.C., with all components being made in the U.S.A. Since Segue is making its debut at NeoCon 2013, be sure to stop by booth 8-3094 to see Segue's fine con- struction, versatility and comfort. 1 RESOURCE INC: YOUR JUST-IN-TIME SUPPLIER FOR QUALITY SEATING COMPONENTS Value of the product, reputation of our people, stocking programs and consistent quality with on-time delivery are all vital keys to the success of 1 ReSource Inc, said President and CEO Guy Boniface. While the value of the products he stocks in two North American warehous- es – one in Toronto and one in Southern California, speaks for itself, Boniface is eager to talk about his reputation and that of his Sales Manager Darren Pearcey, who plays a vital role in the development and marketing of his pro- gram to supply small- and medium-size office furniture manufacturers with high- quality seating components sourced from overseas manufacturers and deliv- ered to the warehouse floors, where 1 ReSource offers next-day pick-up on almost all orders. Both Boniface and Pearcey have been part of the office furniture industry for nearly 30 years, and their faces are familiar to customers who want to know and trust that the people they're dealing with truly stand behind their sales. Pearcey joined 1ReSource a few years ago, and his vast knowledge of the North American office seating market has proven to be of great value both to 1 ReSource and to its customers. "Darren has the same reputation that I have – a very good person, an honest and trust- worthy salesman," Boniface says. 1 ReSource has the North American rights to distribute components made by some of the largest seating component manufacturers in the world. At any given time, there are about 400 skids of seating components just in the Toronto ware- house alone, but if a customer wants something unique rather than something picked off a shelf, 1 ReSource can handle that too, Boniface says. "We do a lot of custom programs. A company comes to me and says that, 'I know you have this mechanism, chair base and gas lift but can you make it a lit- tle different to make it fit our chair?'" The answer to that question is always yes, Boniface says, "We can make any part to the customers' exact specifications. In this case that part would become the cus- tomer's part only. We could keep it in stock so the customer can pull from the warehouse as needed or the customer can buy in bulk directly from our overseas factory." For more information, visit 1 ReSource in booth 2054 and 1054 on the seventh floor at NeoCon. After the show, visit 1ReSourceinc.com, call 905-989-1005 or email boniface@rogers.com. COLLIDE: A TRANSFORMATION OF UNEXPECTED BEAUTY Inspired by splits and fractures in nature, the Collide collection from Shaw Contract Group yields a truly visual col- lision of pattern and color. Taking cues from The Radical persona in our 2012 ColorEvolution forecast, the collection exemplifies the unexpected beauty that results from materials and how they are transformed by colliding circumstance. "Again, we find ourselves looking to nature and how it can impact design;" said Reesie Duncan, Creative Director for Shaw Contract Group. "Destructive forces were an inspiration, but just as it is metaphorically and geographically, when materials undergo a destructive process, the result is often beautiful and inspiring. The products in this collection feature varying degrees of movement as well as cool and warm elements which work beautifully together or independently." Collide features four tiles products, available in 13 colors. Still exudes the effect of withholding motion, Melt fea- tures a bit of loosened distinctiveness, Ignite is likened to a glow, while Unleash has a pattern exuding motion and move- ment. The palette for Collide was thoughtfully planned to include warm and cool neutrals. Collide was designed to be produced at our facilities in the United States and Nantong, China. When production begins in July, Collide will be the first Cradle to Cradle carpet tile collection manufactured in Asia. The collection was designed to work in corporate/workplace, healthcare, high- er education, government office spaces, and is Cradle to Cradle silver-certified and uses premium Eco Solution Q fiber with 45 percent recycled content. All tiles feature EcoWorx backing, which is com- pletely recyclable, PVC-free, and con- tains 44 percent recycled content. Collide contributes to LEED credits, including recycled content, low-emitting materials and innovation in design. Recycled content is based on allocat- ed nylon fiber from Shaw's total nylon fiber production and determined as a per- cent of total Eco Solution Q output. Actual recycled content in this product will likely vary. For more information, visit booth 10-167 at NeoCon 2013 or go online to www.shawcontractgroup.com.
