It's not your ordinary silicone baking mat, it's a silicone mat covered with the unique COOKINA non-stick fabric. The difference is substantial, making COOKINA SILICONE the ideal working and baking surface for pies, pastries, pizzas, cookies, bread, etc. For Robert Richard, chairman of Poirer Richard Inc., owner of the COOKINA brand, COOKINA SILICONE will add depth to the product line: "This non-stick baking mat consists of one side silicone and one side COOKINA 100 percent non- stick fabric, making it the alternative to traditional baking mats and greasy sprays. It is therefore much easier to clean than other baking mats on the market." The silicone side of the new COOKINA SILICONE grips the surface while the COOKINA side makes it easier to work and clean, since the COOKINA side is not porous and doesn't retain odors like other mats do. COOKINA Reusable Cooking Sheets were launched in March 2012 and are quickly becomes the alternative to aluminum foil, wax and parchment papers. The COOKINA BARBECUE product has won the 2012 Lawn Garden & Outdoor Living Gold Innovation Award, at the 67th annual presentation of the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, in 2012. It can also be put at the bottom of microwaves and toaster ovens because COOKINA GARD can be cut to the desired size. COOKINA GARD PLUS: A product for specialty boutiques exclusively, the COOKINA GARD PLUS is of commercial grade. These products are sold through hardware, mass and grocery stores and are also offered online at www.cookina.co. All products are FDA compliant and COOKINA has just received LFGB certification in Europe, making it conform to the highest European standards. Robert Richard is confident that the new COOKINA SILICONE will attract new customers for the brand: " We took a silicone mat, and existing and very popular product, and added the COOKINA flavor to it, making it a serious alternative on the market."
