This little device is the answer to all those cleaning woes that crop up after enjoying the tantalizing taste of barbecued meat and veggies. Tidying up is as simple as placing it on the grill, pressing the button, and letting it scrub away with its mighty trio of washable and replaceable brushes. Each robot houses three powerful electric motors and a smart computer brain that regulates its speed and direction. His friend had a beautiful frame specially designed to store wine corks. D'Onofrio said to his friend, "I want one of those." His friend explained that someone built it for him. D'Onofrio was unfazed, certain he could find one. "And for 10 years, I looked for one. I couldn't find one anywhere," D'Onofrio said. Finally, he told another friend, who happened to be an architect, about the elusive wine cork shadow box. The architect said, "I can build that." And he did. So began the story of Distinctive Wine Frames. D'Onofrio's beautifully designed wine cork shadow boxes are now avail- able in three sizes – large, small and skin- ny. The large frame holds about 500 corks. The small holds about 250 corks, and the skinny holds about 190 corks. KATHRYN MCCOY DESIGN ADDS TO TABLETOP COLLECTION When it comes to fabulous interior light- ing concepts, Kathryn McCoy Design has made that a primary focus when it comes to design. Over the last year, Kathryn McCoy has designed over 20 new lamp styles that she has added to her tabletop collection. "Lighting is what brings warmth to a room. When that source is as beautiful as the light it creates, I have fully accom- plished my goal as a lamp designer for that space," McCoy said. The Kathryn McCoy Design Lamps are all hand-made in her San Diego design studio. She uses natural stones such as Brazilian quartz, citrine and amethyst, as well as Moroccan selenite and aragonite. Kathryn also included gar- nets and rubies from India in her 2013 collection. McCoy said, "I am always in search of rare and beautiful stones in which to add to my collection of tabletop gift designs. I have amazing sources that always bring me unique stones in which to consider when I meet with them domestically or abroad. Most important- ly, they know that I desire untouched, high-quality stones when I buy." Kathryn McCoy Design is looking to expand its lamp collection for 2014. McCoy's expansion of styles, already for this new year, includes amazingly beautiful chandeliers made of Brazilian clear quartz and hanging styles made using amethyst stone. McCoy is currently making a 56- inch Moroccan selenite chande- lier for an office application in Europe. McCoy is also looking to add floor lamps made of stone in an assort- ment of styles to her collection this year. McCoy said, "Always thinking out- side the box is where I need to be when I am working with stone. I want the stone that is placed on my base piece to appear natural and effortless – in essence, it must flow together as if nature had intended it to be that way. Sometimes the stone does not lend itself to the design con- cept, so I am forced to go back to square one and re-think how to make it." Kathryn McCoy Design sells directly to retailers and the trade only. As a company now begin- ning its third year in business, it has grown to 11 employees and is looking to expand its staff by August of 2014.
