O C G S h o w D a i l y M o n d a y, A u g u s t 1 9 , 2 0 1 3 2 2 RELIEVE ACHES AND PAINS WHILE HELPING THE ENVIRONMENT, WITH OGALLALA By Chanielle Blankenship Pain in your muscles, joints, and bones? Whether you are suffering from pain after chemotherapy and radiation treat- ments, pain from sports injuries, chronic back pain, severe arthritis, or just plain old workout woes, Milkweed Balm helps ease your pain and discomfort. Milkweed Balm by Monarch Flyway is a topical, all-natural, NON-GMO, anti-inflamma- tory pain reliever. It comes from the oil of cold-pressed milkweed seed, which is full of antioxidants, high concentrations of omega-3 and omega-7 fatty acids, along with magnesium, calcium, and zinc. Apothecary shops, holistic and homeopathic physicians – including mas- sage therapists, chiropractors, and herbalists – are seeing the benefits of our unique balm, and are using it on their patients with success. Milkweed Balm also has a cumulative effect on pain and inflammation, so the more you use it, the less you will need to re-apply in the future. Relieve pain and restore mobility! Monarch Flyway is the world's largest supplier of wild-crafted, sustain- ably harvested milkweed products and raw materials. We are building a new agriculture based on making products from milkweed. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "What is a weed? A plant whose virtues are yet to be discovered." We develop and sell products, but we also sell milkweed raw materials to peo- ple who dream big and look for opportu- nities to grow their own dreams while benefiting the monarch. Milkweed is the sole food source of the monarch caterpillar, and our company seeks to protect and establish monarch habi- tats by constantly developing unique opportunities to "grow" the potential of the milkweed plant. Our mission is to preserve the monarch migration for future generations. By purchasing prod- ucts made from milkweed, you can help create a bigger demand for this amazing plant, and save monarch butterfly habitats from going extinct. Right now, monarch habitats are in danger due to recent milk- weed deforestation, herbicidal spraying, and destruction from the population thinking it's just a weed. Growing more milkweed will help monarchs survive throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Discover amazing pain- relieving benefits from our Milkweed Balm AND help benefit a cause. Our first development in milkweed production was Ogallala Comfort Company. Located in a rural ranching community in Ogallala, Nebraska, we are family-owned and operated, and have been in business for 27 years. Ogallala manufactures a natural and luxurious line of pillows, duvets, crib comforters, and mat- tress enhancers with the use of Hypodown ® , a combination of the finest Hungarian white goose down and milkweed fibers. Allergy tests prove that the fibers trap and suppress allergens found in down that cause aller- gic reactions, making the product natu- rally hypo-allergenic and safe to use for people who suffer from allergies and asthma. Milkweed makes the down more breathable, longer-lasting, and helps the body regulate temperature. Some may think we're crazy; we prefer "passionate." People can find relief and comfort in unlikely places. We firmly believe that you will find it at Monarch Flyway. See and feel the power of milkweed! HOBO LAUNCHES MOBILE HOBO Hobo, the American handbag and acces- sories brand, has announced that it will be taking its show on the road, quite literally, with the launch of its exclusive Mobile Hobo. The brand's latest effort will be used to promote brand awareness while partnering and creating a buzz around its top specialty stores. Mobile Hobo is the brand's equivalent of a food truck for fashion accessories! Completely rebuilt from an old delivery van, the interior resembles the brand's flagship in its hometown of Annapolis, Md., complete with live-edge wood shelving and back-lit frosted walls. The exterior is painted in the exclusive "Hobo blue" color and fea- tures seasonal brand graphics and solar panels that run the lights and air-condi- tioning inside the truck. Mobile Hobo is set to make its debut at a launch party on August 14th at Hobo's flagship store in Annapolis, Md. The truck will then set out to partner with some of the brand's specialty stores on the East Coast. The plan is to use Mobile Hobo as a traveling showroom, allowing the store's customers to view Hobo prod- ucts that might not be available in the store. Koren Ray, Hobo's Chief Visionary Officer said, "This is a won- derful way for us to promote the smaller brick-and-mortar businesses that have supported us throughout the years." She adds, "Being out on the road seems so fit- ting for a brand like Hobo. We have a long, rich heritage and we want to share our story and our brand philosophy with our loyal customers, and hopefully meet lots of new fans." Mobile Hobo will kick off the tour close to home in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore before traveling along the East Coast, hitting cities such as Philadelphia, Richmond, Raleigh, and Atlanta. Future plans for Mobile Hobo include taking the truck to college campuses and major col- lege towns nationwide. Additional trucks may be built and deployed on the West Coast in the near future. The hope is to open Mobile Hobo to the public on a daily basis and post the location on Facebook as a way to track Mobile Hobo's travels. The seamless melding of artwork and stone-crafting expertise is realized in every piece from Designs by Marble Crafters. ROCKFLOWERPAPER INTRODUCES LOU LOU SCARVES Scarves are a hot gift item, and rockflow- erpaper continues to expand its gorgeous offerings in this category. The team spent three weeks in India last fall, and the col- ors and textures it saw there became the inspiration for the fall line. rockflowerpa- per has added 14 new designs to its best- selling luxury blend collection ($19 wholesale) and has also added an entire- ly new collection of soft flowy scarves, called Lou Lous, at $11 each. The new Lou Lou Scarf collection lends a touch of sophistication and clas- sic style to any traveler's ensemble. All of the scarves have a contrasting band along the edge, which gives the scarf more finish, and adds another color to work with when pairing the scarf with clothing. The Diwali Scarf, with its bril- liant colors and teardrop design, was inspired by fireworks exploding grace- fully overhead during Diwali celebra- tions in Jaipur. For a splash of chic color, the best-selling Chevron Scarf is a must have that is right on trend with the fashion world. The soft hand and unique design borrowed from the shape of the doorways at the Rambagh Palace make the Rambagh Scarf a smart choice for women who take a piece of luxury with them wherever they go. Many customers who were hesitant about the $19 price point for the luxe scarves are now loyal repeat customers. Why? Because it is design and a soft hand that sells the scarves, and rockflow- erpaper's designs are on-trend, unique, and beautiful, and the softness of the fab- ric is irresistible. The Lou Lou collection ($11) was created for those who wanted to have two price points in their stores, and based on selling thus far this season, they are a huge hit as well. rockflowerpaper's line is far more than just scarves, though. Its collection includes a huge array of lacquer trays, placemats, coasters, hand screened canvas totes, iphone covers, kitchen towels, and more. The company is growing in leaps and bounds due to the high taste level of the line, coupled with great service. About rockflowerpaper Katie Smith launched rockflowerpaper after spending twenty years at the helm of Mulberry Neckwear, a player in the men's fashion world. Smith and her team, which include her husband, Andy, and designer Katie Shillinglaw, love to travel the world looking for new products and design inspiration. In addition to their trip to India, the team also travelled to England, France, Vietnam, and Germany last Fall, and those travels inspired the fresh patterns and colors of their fall 2013 line.
