PDS: I stay true to the history of the pieces I create. There's a tremendous amount of research that goes into devel- oping each collection so that it retains an authentic feel from the past. OSD: What was the most significant event or series of events affecting your company in the past year? What's your main line of business? PDS: Pamela de Somov Designs creates unique, sculptural artwork based primar- ily on architectural elements from the 12th- through 16th-century Europe.
