Bold and spicy flavors fused in this new All Natural line include Buffalo Style, Jamaican Jerk, Asiago & Spinach, Italian, Tomatillo Salsa Santa Fe Style, Andouille and Oktoberfest Black Forest Chicken Brats. "We are very excited about this addi- tion to our All Natural product mix," said Louis Eni, President and CEO of Dietz & Watson, and grandson of company founder Gottlieb Dietz. "We work hard to keep on top of consumer trends and we think this new line couldn't be timed bet- ter." To go along with this robust new line comes bold new packaging too. The new items come in 12-ounce packages con- taining four sausages each. For more than 70 years, Dietz & Watson has been run as a family busi- ness. It was founded in 1939 by Gottlieb Dietz, a talented young German sausage maker. His primary goal was to produce the most flavorful, highest-quality franks, sausages and deli meats in the marketplace to please even the most dis- criminating palate. His old-world recipes fused with today's bold flavor offerings still to this day demand "Quality Above All Else." To try any or all of these exciting new All Natural Dietz & Watson Chicken Sausages, please stop by Dairy-Deli- Bake booth 2141 or visit www.DietzAndWatson.com for more information. Dietz & Watson (Cont'd. from p. 1) packaging comes in black and gold as is called tuxedo and in an elegant retro sil- ver line called platinum. These pans come in 11 different sizes, the largest variety in the industry. All of the pans have flat flange edges which can be used with OPS or PET dome lids as well as with heat sealing film. Novelis is also the only aluminum supplier to offer a full line of black alu- minum partyware trays. These trays are manufactured in the renaissance prod- uct line and being aluminum are stronger than your typical plastic tray. A PET lid is also available for each tray. The lids fit over the flange of the trays so they stay tightly on the tray, some- thing a lid on a plastic tray doesn't always do. These trays are great for in store bakery "Big Cookie" programs. You can bake and sell the cookie on the same attractive tray. All of these pans and trays are both ovenable and microwavable and are 100 percent and Infinitely Recyclable and are perfect for food processors or in store grab 'n' go programs. Novelis holds a deep appreciation of the collective role in the vibrant health of the environment and the cus- tomers. Novelis operates seven recy- cling centers around the world. Every year Novelis recycles more than 35 bil- lion aluminum cans, not only providing an important source of metal for the company, but also helping to combat global climate change. By recycling used cans instead of using primary alu- minum, Novelis saves the energy equiv- alent of more than 11 million barrels of oil and prevents the production of more than 4 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually. All of its products currently contain 39 percent recycled aluminum and by the year 2020 the recycled content will be as much as 80 percent. So by partnering with Novelis, you not only can purchase the highest quality and most invocative products in the alu- minum industry but you are working with a company that is clearly committed to our environment and how we leave it. In other words, perfect packaging for a better world. Novelis (Cont'd. from p. 1) it has become the leader in refrigerated salad dressings, dips, sauces, freeze dried herbs, caramel, fruit dips and glazes, and is now launching a line of artisan deli cheese. Litehouse has been an employ- ee-owned company since 2006, and each one of the employees/owners is proud to carry on the high standards of quality and innovation, living up to our slogan: "Because Taste Matters." OCGSD: What would you say makes your company unique? DO: What makes the Litehouse ® Artisan Deli Cheese line unique is the quality and taste of the cheese, coupled with the unique packaging. There are a lot of great cheeses out there, and a lot of not so great cheeses. We needed to educate con- sumers on our high quality, and to have a point of difference to stand out. Our niche is offering a premium domestic cheese. The premier item is the center cut blue cheese. This cut comes from the heart of the blue cheese, and is carefully displayed on a domed tray that becomes a serving tray for the cheese. Complimentary items include packaged crumbles of the blue cheese, Gorgonzola and feta. Something new to the category are the wedges, which are hand-wrapped in eco-friendly brown paper with a styl- ish label. This achieves the artisan look that is so sought after. And the final offer- ing is the six pound wheel of Gorgonzola and blue cheese―a beautiful centerpiece for any deli merchandising and for the true blue cheese enthusiast. OCGSD: What distinguishes your prod- uct from the competition? DO: Litehouse premium domestic cheese is made with locally sourced sin- gle-source milk and is r-BST and gluten- free. The blue cheese and Gorgonzola are made in small batches from vintage recipes with strains dating back to pre- World War II. Each wheel is hand- turned, hand-salted and aged a minimum of 100 days. The Litehouse master cheesemakers have a combined 70 years of experience, which shows in every wheel they make. OCGSD: How do you handle sales? DO: We have a very knowledgeable national sales team available to share our premium line of Litehouse Artisan Cheese anywhere in the United States. OCGSD: How can our readers find out more about your company? DO: For more information, please con- tact Stacey Miller at smiller@litehouse inc.com, call 800-669-3169 or visit www.litehousefoods.com. Litehouse (Cont'd. from p. 1) Barry's Bakery (Cont'd. from p. 1) "healthier for you" attitude. Our best- selling line of French Twists are light and flaky puff pastry twists with a generous dusting of cinnamon and sugar goodness, and are available in six great flavors, Original Cinnamon, Raspberry, Almond, Maple French Toast, Chocolate Chip and our newest addition, Dulce de Leche. OCGSD: What would you say makes your company unique? GY: For starters, we have been making millions of French Twists daily for more than 20 years. We are one of the few fam- ily-owned and operated companies in the bakery industry, with multiple genera- tions of the Yellen family hard at work every day. Numerous big names have tried to "knock off" the French Twist, thus far nobody has been able to dupli- cate the original. Barry's Bakery was created in 1989 after Barry Yellen suffered a devastating heart attack. Forced to alter his diet and lifestyle, Barry was unable to find any- thing to satisfy his sweet tooth. Barry decided to create his own satisfying snack, and from this the French Twist was born. Barry created a delicious and unique snack that satisfied both his doc- tors and his taste buds: a light and flaky puff pastry, twisted and dusted with cin- namon and sugar became the best-selling Original Cinnamon French Twist. Barry referred to the long list of product attributes as his "no" list. French Twists are oven baked and contain no trans fat, no cholesterol, no butter, no eggs, no yeast, and is dairy free, vegan and OU Kosher certified. After hearing Barry's "no" list, customers would jok- ingly ask, "well then what's in them?" Barry would simply reply, "Just Great Taste" and that became the official slogan of Barry's Bakery French Twists. OCGSD: Are you introducing any new products? GY: Yes. Unlike other companies we don't introduce new items just for the sake of filling up shelf space, we carefully plan and create only what we know customers will love, and most importantly to retailers, products that sell. We are very proud to introduce the newest member of the fami- ly, Dulce de Leche French Twists. Dulce de Leche twists carry the "No list" created by Barry, and are available in 4.5 ounce bags, 5 and 7 ounce tubs and 2 packs. Private label packaging is available. The Dulce de Leche Twists have been getting rave reviews from everybody who has tried them, and we are fully confident that the Dulce twists will satisfy returning cus- tomers and new customers alike.
