CRSD: How are sales for your products in the C-store channel? TLM: Convenience Valet has realized strong gains despite current manufactur- er outages that have affected the HBC category. Name brand single/double dose sales continue to be strong. We proactively introduced three new name brand OTC medications to bolster the category: Advil ® Congestion Relief, Contac ® Cold + Flu, and Advil ® Allergy Congestion Relief and two new health and wellness SKUs (Airborne ® Chewable Berry & Citrus). And, even more importantly, we work with each of our major manufacturers to ensure opti- mal in-stock conditions. CRSD: How does Convenience Valet work with C-stores to maximize sales and profits? TLM: What drives the HBC cate- gory is hav- ing the right mix of prod- uct (the cor- rect balance between larger retail shelf items and the single/double dose and trial size "pegable" items) and staying in stock. To accomplish this, we provide unbiased category management and space management expertise. We work with retailers to produce customized plan-o-grams based on their scan data and our analysis of the latest industry PAK TO THE FUTURE: CRUNCHIES ADDS FOUR VIBRANT VEGGIES TO POPULAR MUNCH PAK LINE Pak-ing in mouth-watering flavor and essential nutrition in a handy single-serv- ing pouch, Crunchies ® ' Munch Paks ® have been a hit among health food devo- tees and mainstream consumers of all ages since they were introduced in six fruit flavors just over a year ago. In response to public demand and represent- ing a key facet of Crunchies' 2013 prod- uct expansion, the company debuted four new veggies to the Munch Paks family in September: BBQ Roasted Veggies, Buttered Sweet Corn, Salted Edamame and Buttered Power Veggies. Like their five fruit-based cousins (Strawberry, Pineapple, Cinnamon Apple, Mixed Fruit, and Mango), each of the new Veggie Munch Paks are all natu- ral and the veggies are naturally seasoned to perfection for an explosive flavor mixed with a great crunch. The result is a true original— a one-of-a-kind snack that is so tasty even kids might forget just how good it is for them! Single-serve Fruit Munch Paks are .33 ounces, while the new Veggie pouches range from .5 to .75 ounces. Crunchies' new BBQ Roasted Veggies Munch Pak is bursting with corn, peas, carrots, toma- toes, red bell peppers and a kick of BBQ seasoning. Buttered Sweet Corn tastes so good, consumers are going to be search- ing for the cob at the bottom of every Munch Pak! Salted Edamame, which is full of protein with just a dash of sea salt, is the perfect snack to crunch any crav- ing.
