More and more of our specialty independent partners wanted to add Fissler to the six other great brands they already buy from Roland. By bringing Fissler under the Roland umbrella, it makes ordering and shipping much easier for our partners since they can now order pressure cookers and juicers on the same PO. KNSD: Where is the new growth coming from? FR: Positive media exposure has driven a huge growth of interest in pressure cooking. The Fissler Vitaquick Better Living Products (Con't. from p. 1) MA: Better Living Products™ was established in 1991 with a mission of supplying every home with a practical and convenient way to eliminate shower bottle clutter. We continue to be best recognized for pioneering the shower dispenser category and for being the leader in this market with our award-winning product, The Dispenser™. Over the years, we have expanded our product offering to address the growing need for bathroom organization and products that simplify our lives. 2011 marked Better Living Products' 20th year of designing, manufacturing and marketing unique, high-quality bath and shower organization products. KNSD: What makes Better Living unique? Essenergy (Con't. from p. 1) ML: You know, that is a good question! We actually called our customers and asked them. Here is what we discovered: It's a top seller with people who want fast, easy and healthy. People who are looking for fast and easy seem to be busy moms, couples who cook together and people who work for long hours. People who want to eat healthy also want fast and easy, plus they are watching their weight, eating for two or are a new mom looking for optimum nutrition. We have noticed a big boom in people who have health challenges, especially gluten-sensitive people—that's a big one. One in 15 people say they have this challenge. Our products support them in making fast, easy, safe and healthy ultranourishing meals. Also, you must have noticed, there is a big trend growing in cooking whole Neat-Oh! DF: Neat-Oh!'s new for 2013 line includes the LEGO Chima Battle Arena pressure cooker line was selected as the number one pressure cooker by Cook's Illustrated, where it was singled out as the only pressure cooker that achieved 15 psi (250 degrees Fahrenheit) inside. And the Wall Street Journal recently picked it as a favorite, citing the easy on/off lid design. Consumers are asking for Fissler by name when they want the best in pressure cookers. The Original Pro Collection, a full line of classic stainless steel cookware, also continues to grow as the Fissler brand grows. KNSD: Along with the great media exposure, what else is Roland doing to help retailers? FR: We continue to offer our specialty MA: With a focus on innovation, we are constantly introducing products that are functional and practical – providing time saving convenience during our daily routines. Our mission is to make our customers' lives a little easier through having an organized bath. Key to these innovations is the simplicity of installation. All of our products are designed to be installed quickly and easily – many without the use of tools. High quality and durability is paramount for our products to be successful, especially since most of our products – whether they are shower dispensers, baskets, or caddies – find their home within wet and humid shower environments. We have chosen to concentrate on utilizing honest materials, such as stainless steel, chrome and aluminum to deliver the absolute best quality to our customers with products that organic foods. This market is exploding— and these people are passionate about their eco-conscious food and how they prepare it. Many are vegetarian, and many are not, but they are all choosing healthy cookware.
