The Schwan Food Company Names
Dimitrios Smyrnios Chief Executive Officer
Dimitrios Smyrnios will serve as The Schwan Food
Company's next Chief Executive Officer, succeeding
Gregory Flack. The appointment is effective
immediately.
"After a thorough and deliberate search process,
the board of directors concluded that Dimitrios
Smyrnios is the right leader to strengthen our company moving forward. He is a proven leader with a
strong track record in profitably growing businesses," said Allan Schuman, Chairman of the Board
for The Schwan Food Company. "Importantly, he is
deeply familiar with our business, having spent his
entire career in the food industry in leadership positions at PepsiCo and Nestle S.A."
Smyrnios began his career with the Frito-Lay division at PepsiCo, where he spent eight years in progressive roles with sales and marketing. In 1993,
Smyrnios joined Nestle Waters North America in
Southern California. During his tenure, he had progressive roles of responsibility, eventually serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the
Nestle Waters Home & Office Division and the Retail
Division. Smyrnios spent the last year with Nestle
Dryer's Ice Cream Division as President. His background in consumer goods with both retail and direct
delivery will be beneficial in his new role as CEO of
The Schwan Food Company.

Keith McDaniel Named CEO
of Wythe Will Tzetzo, LLC
Leading confections and specialty food packager and
distributor Wythe Will Tzetzo, LLC's Board of Directors
named Keith McDaniel to succeed Gordon Angles, who
is retiring from his role as CEO at the end of 2013.
McDaniel has 22 years of experience in the confectionery industry serving in various capacities, most recently as President of Wythe Will Tzetzo. McDaniel
joined Tzetzo Bros, a predecessor company, in 1991
as Vice President of Purchasing.
"Keith's wealth of experience and industry
knowledge, along with his passion and commitment to the business, make him the ideal person
to lead Wythe Will Tzetzo going forward," Angles
said. "Keith is dedicated to our customers in providing the best possible service and quality of

Kroger Names Steve McKinney
President of Fry's Food Stores
Steve McKinney was promoted to President of the
Fry's Food Stores division of The Kroger Co. Fry's operates 119 food stores in Arizona. McKinney has been
Vice President of Operations at the company's Ralphs
division since 2007. He succeeds Jon Flora, who
passed away unexpectedly in September.
"In his 31 years with the company, Steve has
demonstrated a deep knowledge of our industry, excellence in operations, and a passion for serving our
customers and our associates," said Rodney McMullen, Kroger's President and Chief Operating Officer.
"Steve has the expertise and energy to lead Fry's in
the years ahead. I know that he and our outstanding
associates will continue to honor and sustain Fry's
great legacy of associate engagement, service to our
customers and communities."
McKinney began his Kroger career in 1981 as a
clerk with Florida Choice Supermarkets, a former
Kroger banner. Eventually, he advanced to roles as
a store manager, buyer and field representative. In
1988, McKinney joined Fry's Food Stores in Phoenix,
where he served in various leadership positions, including store manager, deli director, and Executive
Director of Operations. In 1998, McKinney was
named Vice President of Operations at Fry's. In
2006, he was named Vice President of Operations
for Kroger's Southwest division before moving to his
current role at Ralphs in 2007.
