The forthcoming Ambiente will have
more than 2,100 Dining exhibitors on 16
hall levels, bringing together tomorrow's
trends. In 2020 the Dining product group
will be the global platform for everything
that makes cooking and household
chores easier and turns a shared meal
into an unforgettable experience. Rang-
ing from treasures in tableware, through
innovative kitchen accessories, storage
solutions and small electrical appliances
to unique hospitality systems, this area
will cover all the dining trends of tomor-
row, represented by more than 2,100 ex-
hibitors on 16 hall levels. Last time,
Ambiente hosted a total of 4,460 ex-
hibitors from more than 90 countries.
The next Ambiente will be take place
February 7-11, 2020.
Halls 1 and 3: Right at the Heart
of International Lifestyle Trends
Whether it's amazing accessories and tex-
tiles for the kitchen, innovative drinks
machines, drinks bottles while on the go
or gourmet gifts for our near and dear
ones – Hall 1 stands for everything that
gives us a new experience of the good life,
both at home and on the road. As on pre-
vious occasions, the line-up will include
Lifetime Brands Europe, who will be pre-
senting their innovative products and a
variety of brands in Hall 1.1. Well-known
exhibitors in Hall 1.2 will be the German
baking specialist Birkmann, the New York
cult brand Oxo, the iconic artisan studio
Peugot Saveurs and the Canadian cooking
brand Trudeau. They will be joined by
Honeybee Wrap, a newcomer from down
under. The reusable bees' wax packaging
from this Australian manufacturer is an
eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap-
ping and a sustainable way to keep food
fresh. Another new exhibitor will be
Strawbuddy Sweden, whose reed-based
drinking straws show how a good con-
science is still possible in an age of
drinks-to-go products. Then there is the
young German company Air Up, a bever-
age tech newcomer with an innovative
bottle that adds a bit of taste to water sim-
ply by giving it a fragrance.
Right at the heart of the latest trends, a
range of exhibitors will be presenting small
electrical gadgets and small kitchen appli-
ances, cutting tools, cookware, cutlery and
barbecue products – all set within the in-
ternational lifestyle environment of the
forthcoming Ambiente, in Hall 3. This year
they will include the small electrical appli-
ance manufacturers Kitchen Aid, Smeg and
Vitamix as well as leading German brands
such as Fissler, Rösle, WMF and Zwilling.
Two of this year's returning exhibitors at
Ambiente will be the Korean slow juicer
brand Hurom and the traditional German
brand Cloer. Also, a bold use of color on
small electrical appliances will be cele-
brated with all the senses at Ambiente. Ari-
ete is a good example, a Tuscan company
with a pastel-coloured vintage collection
that underlines this color euphoria in small
electrical appliances, while also being an
ode to the 1960s.

Ambiente 2020 Tastes Great: Dining
Experiences and Global Kitchen Trends
Spain, Germany and France will be the
most well-represented countries at SIGEP,
the international artisan gelato, pastry, bak-
ery
and coffee show, organized by Italian
Exhibition Group (IEG), in Italy, at Rimini
Expo Centre January 18-22, 2020 alongside
A.B. Tech Expo, the exhibition for technol-
ogy and products for bakery. However, the
percentage of international exhibitors,
equal to 20 percent, with foreign brands
from more than 30 countries, is consis-
tently
increasing from the various nations
of origin resulting in a trade show where
business, internationality and higher train-
ing take center stage.
SIGEP 2020 will also provide more
space to international business meetings
with top markets. And interest from the
world of foreign associations is growing.
In fact, thanks to the ninth Gelato World
Cup, the most important competition in
the world for artisan gelato with Mexico,
Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Germany,
Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Argentina,
Colombia and Hungary all taking part,
SIGEP can boast collaborations with the
Confédération Nationale des Glaciers de
France, Anhcea - Asociación nacional de
heladeros artesanos (Spain), Afadhya -
Asociación Fabricantes Artesanales de
Helados
y Afines (Argentina), Uniteis -
Associazione dei Gelatieri Italiani in Ger-
many and the Singapore Pastry Alliance.
The 2020 edition will also see the re-
turn of The Star of Sugar, a unique and
spectacular competition that involves cre-
ating splendid sugar sculptures, and the
Bread in the City - International Bakery
Contest,
now at its fourth edition with
eight teams vying for victory: Holland,
Spain, Peru, Japan, China, Switzerland,
Germany and Taiwan. What's more, the
Russian Ice Cream Association, which
groups together industrial ice cream pro-
ducers in Russia, and the Quebec restau-
rant owners' association (ARQ -
Association Restaurant Quèbec), are also
in arrival.
On the coffee front, the SCA, Specialty
Coffee Association (the association that,
for the last three years, has brought to-
gether the European and American
SCAA associations) will also be in atten-
dance.
