Aftermarket Daily News 7 7 Wednesday, October 31, 2018 winning the General Tire Pole Award at Daytona International Speedway and finishing fifth in the season opener. I'm proud of my season accomplishments and making history by becoming the third woman in ARCA's history and fourth in Daytona's 59-year track history to start a race from the pole position. From the moment I fell in love with the sport to now, my passion has been unwa- vering; I knew, and still believe, that nothing could stop me from achieving my dream. I believe that every young woman should feel this way. Now more than ever, it's important that we serve our duty as role models for girls, no matter our age or profession. Above all, we must teach our daughters and our daughters' daughters this funda- mental truth: our gender has nothing to do with who we aspire to be. When I put my helmet on, I am a racecar driver – not a girl in a racecar. I'm also very proud of my role mak- ing history with Venturini Motorsports' teammates Toni Breidinger and Leilani Munter this past summer. When Venturini Motorsports entered the three of us in the Chicago Speedway race this past June, it was the first time in the mod- ern era of racing that one team entered three female drivers in a single event. However, history is really made when we focus on the girls watching from the stands. If I can show my fans how to be a strong, confident competitor that stops at nothing to pursue their passion, then I've Girl Power (Cont'd. from p. 1) done my job. That's why I'm grateful to be on a team that recognizes talented, inspiring women on and off the track. A passionate environmentalist, Leilani Münter has used her racing career to support causes like animal rights and solar power. Beginning her career at age 9, Toni Breidinger has proved to young girls that they can do anything they set their mind to, regardless of age. Together, we hope to help girls find their voice and show them the importance of advocating for change. Racing has given me the opportunity to get involved with causes I care about and stand up for what I believe in. As a national spokesper- son for People Against Distracted Driving (PADD), I am determined to help educate young fans about the dangers of distracted receives a new product that is destined to become one of the true hallmarks of the industry. One such product is Bullet Liner, which is making its way into the aftermar- ket, one step at a time. With all new prod- ucts, a proven track record is not given – it is earned. Installers, technicians, jobbers and distributors need more than just a promise – they need proven results. On Track to Becoming an Industry Leader At Bullet Liner, one of the hallmarks of our brand is the fact that we are not fran- chised. That's right – since day one, we have been proud to be the market's only "UN"-Franchised Alternative™. And we believe that there are a number of advan- tages to steering clear of traditional fran- chise networks. According to Forbes magazine, here are a few of the main clues to watch out for: Traditional franchise networks are known for passing along "hidden fees" to their members (whether they be addition- al start-up or entry costs, or fees for mar- keting and sales training). Typical large franchisers often prom- ise lofty "average earnings" (it's impor- tant to note that success always varies on the skill set and resources of individual operators – often while revenue costs may be high, corresponding expenses may be Accella (Cont'd. from p. 1) as well, which is why it's critical to have a candid, open assessment before signing up and evaluate median income numbers, rather than averages). The presence of stringent rules, and in effect, a strict "boss" (one of the rea- sons many operators are attracted to the freedom of independent ownership is the opportunity to have an entrepreneurial career of their own, but many franchisers still operate with a staunch structure that can mimic more traditional employers… and bosses). You're trapped! Many typical fran- chise networks make it very difficult for an operator who is unsatisfied to leave (by providing strict out-clauses and non- competes, and requiring that the member agree to an extreme number of regula- tions and provisions). Here at Bullet Liner, you have the "Freedom to Perform" – the type of free- dom that attracted you to this exciting line of work in the first place. We hope you'll take a moment to learn more about all that Bullet Liner has to offer the industry…and your professional future. Read more about Bullet Liner at www.bulletliner.com. Or, most com- monly, coverage for an employee hitting something while operating the vehicle. Although many garage keepers claims fall below a deductible and even more are taken care of by the shop owner as a cost of doing business, understand- ing when and how coverage is triggered is key. To recap: Garage liability protects a shop owner from actions of bodily injury caused by the operation of a vehicle and extends to their work should there be consequential injury or property damage due to alleged faulty workmanship; garage keepers liability merely protects the physical damage of a third-party vehicle, while it's in the shop owner's custody. Those trips cost the distributor money and in turn drove up my oil prices." Operational efficiency is the key to choosing Rhino Tuff Tanks, he said. "It's changing the way I do business. I'm always on the lookout for ways to increase efficiency without adding over- head." "Rhino Tuff Tanks represents the next generation of fluid management," commented Jason Ramert, National Sales Manager, Rhino Tuff Tanks. "This design is superior to anything else in the market – not just in strength and durability, but diversity as well. Because of the common Stackable Poly Tanks (Cont'd. from p. 4) footprint among sizes, any combination of our tanks stacks together – without conversion brackets. We are also able to accommodate dispensing via simple gravity feed, or air-operated pumps/reels. Eliminating specialty components frees up valuable working capital and ware- house space for us and our customers." It's important to me that my fans are exposed to prominent issues like this, but also that they under- stand why it's not enough to simply learn about the problem – you have to stand up and do something about it. I'm determined to keep the "Girl Power" charge going with Venturini Motorsports and our sponsor, Tork, to pave the way for women aspiring for greatness, in motorsports or any other field. A promising future lies on the road ahead for young girls everywhere; I say full-speed ahead! Natalie is at the North Hall, Tork booth #11013 during SEMA, today, Wednesday, October 31, 9-11am.
