Several options exist for a casino operator and each path provides its own list of positives and negatives. A handful of regional casinos have selected large sports betting providers to man- age the casino's sports betting vertical. The casinos have been enticed by the short time to market and the knowledge gained by bringing in the sports betting provider. The key facet to these agreements is being overlooked – the customer. The natural divide is that the sports betting providers and casino operators will both want to own the customer on their respective verticals. This can only precipitate a fragmented user expe- rience and marketing effort. The casinos must think past the short term and analyze how their interactive assets will blend together to create a seamless experience in 3-5 years. Workers within the gaming industry spend a lot of time on their feet. How their feet feel and function directly correlates with how they focus on their jobs. Poor focus leads to poor job performance and puts an employer at risk. From table games dealers to pit managers, bar- tenders, security officers, cage cashiers, chefs/cooks, cocktail servers, slot technicians, buffet supervisors and all jobs within the gaming industry, employees wearing the right footwear for the job is critical to a productive, successful shift.
